Biography
Deep in the heartleand of Dayton, OH there is a dedicated group of relentless musicians known as King's Landing. This fresh talent is constantly working with passion and determination to deliver an infectious blend of modern country music and rock n' roll which they intend to share with the world. Singer/songwriter Timmy King has been giving his all to make a name for himself in the country music business for the last year. With frequent trips down to Nashville and ever-advantageous studio experiences under his belt, he has proven to hold much promise and potential through his performances. After developing a friendship and business relationship with country music super star- Craig Morgan, King's connection and means of success was finalized. Now, all he needed was a band.
King recruited musicians from the greater Dayton and Cincinatti area in the early fall of 2006. This line-up would consist of musicians who had previously been involved in projects influenced heavily by the metal and driving rock music of modern times and past generations. This entourage would include Jason Lewis(lead guitars), Eddie Ling(drums/percussion), Kent Wood(Acoustic Guitar), TJ Salyers(Bass Guitar) and, of course, King providing vocal accompaniment and lyrical symmetry. The amount of experience in composing and arranging country music would appear to most as a challange, but the prevalent chemistry and dauntlessness of this group would prove as a firm foundation and backbone for the band's songwriting.
This sextet plan on taking their career in country music to the very top of the spectrum. With their suitable musical compositions and lyrical content ranging from heartbreak, family, and spirituality to just having a good time, they hope to spark positivity in a world where negative behaviour and outlooks on life seem promanent. "We're just here to create music that provokes people to feel good and have fun", says guitarist Kent Wood. And that's precisely what their songs reflect. Keep your eyes open for King's Landing.
