Kosky is a techno artist making music for personal pleasure and the world. Sometimes hated for the "noise" created, sometime loved for the music created. She owes it all to her 3rd grade piano teacher Sister Irma and the ruler, (ouch) and to her mom and dad for paying for the piano lessons. The lessons paid off, and her musical talents grew. By high school, she had learned to play almost every instrument made and well on her way to a musical scholarship. But, instead of becoming a concert pianist, she went on to write, produce and mix her own style of techno music.
Kosky lives in the land of long winters and midnight sun, Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. She released her first CD "Digital Traffic Jam" in November 2001 independently. In February of 2002, her music hit the radio stations locally, and made it’s way into the the club scene in Canada and Australia. In August 2002, her newest CD "The Manumission of Kosky" traveled south of the border to the United States and was Debut in The Lizard Lounge. She is currently working on another new CD set for release early next year. Her music has been heard and seen on "TxTMe Television" in London, England, "Nova.de" Munich, Germany and Essential-Clubbing.
