Cool black and white
Learned vocals from elementary school chorus. Went on to high school music and specialty groups through college. Carolina Alive from '81 - '84.

Took trumpet in middle school but wasn't very good at it.

Started playing congas at church and moved up to drums. Bought a digital set and really liked it. Problem was at first I couldn't play because I had arranged them in a right handed configuration, switched them around and it was much easier for me.

Have played on and off the digital keyboard but not until recently had I "heard" the different parts in my head. Wish my skill was more fluid to be able to transcribe from mind to ear but all in due time.

Have been a multimedia producer for decades so having recording and mixing skills come in handy.

"Thousand Years" I heard in a waking dream and took the lyrics directly from Revelations.

"Joseph's Song" I wrote again after hearing in the night, but wanted to give more attention to the duplicity of emotion that Joseph must have felt at Christ's birth.

"Bowling Queen" was written by request of my lovely wife of 24 years for her bowling team. There was originally a video that went along with it. Very funny.

"Sweet Immodium" started as a joke sing along with my two boys as we traveled. Went back and fleshed it out into a song.

"Proclaim" started as a ditty and added to it.

Have added several songs since I originally started posting. The biggest improvement is a new but inexpensive digital drum set and my favorite new instrument – a toy – the Power Tour electric guitar from Gibson. Picked it up for $20 at Wal-mart. But what fun! You’ll hear it featured in the songs: Rock and Jesus There’s No Other Way.

In my spare time, I like to write and record. The studio is basically a keyboard, computer and mic. My favorite software is Sony's Vegas and Sound Forge. Enjoy and thanks for listening.
