Singer/songwriter Liz Menezes fixation with music began at the early age of ten playing classical piano. She later discovered her talent for writing non-complex melodies and lyrics. She was also a regular at her church choir on Sundays.

She continued moving forward going on auditions which along the way landed her more than singing gigs it introduced her to the modeling world as well.

To gain studio experience she started doing background vocals for freestyle artists such as LilSuzy, Cynthia, Coro, George Lammond, TKA, she even began writing songs for Fascination, " Wasnt Love" which appears on the "Freestyle Lives"album. Her thirst for music took her on auditions for such girl groups as Ladies Only and later Famel. Both, were female vocal groups with original music, unique sense of vocal arrangement and musical style. With these groups she performed for live audiences in many talent competitions and they even appeared in Carnegie Hall.

Later on her taste for music took a turn for a more Pop, Alternative and Rock sound. Today her music and lyrics reach out to those who seek their story told through music. "Music is a way of communication, reaching out and letting people know that whatever you are going thru, it's gonna be okay because you are not alone"

Her inspiration is life and people, in her lyrics you will find not your typical love song but a storybook, lyrics that reach home.

She is currently working on her solo album, while not limiting herself to musicial opportunities she has recorded American standards in Bossa Nova in Rio de Janeiro. Included on these projects which were released in Asia and Europe are such names as: Bossa Nova great Roberto Menescal, Raymundo Bittencourt co-partner at Albatroz Music and Eli Menezes young upcoming Brazilian guitarist who has already played with such greats as Fred Hammond, Lauryn Hill and Richard Bona to name a few.

In 2007 two of her renditions of such Beatles classics as “FOR NO ONE” and “NOWHERE MAN” included in the compilation Beatles In Bossa released in Japan went 1 in iTunes Japan

Her first solo venture is sure to be a listen to and a hit producing album.
