Biography
Loco Parentus has been jamming and bamming since late 2006. It all started when Alexie Pigot(drummer/backing vox/human pogo stick) and Aaron Gooley, (bass/heavy tea consumer/monkey) approached Sunday Faynes (guitar/lead vox/songwritter/portable barbie) to record her original songs. Being a little dorky 12 yr old, Sunday accepted. (Nerdy Girl Turns Cool :)) As time passed on and songs were recorded, a well known band competition (Youngblood) popped up. Alexie, Aaron and Sunday were quite keen on playing live and entering into the band competition, but realized they needed a groovy name to call themselves. A few names were tossed around but one name (that Sunday's mum mentioned. THANKS MA!) really got the attention of the group. That name is Loco Parentus, which is a latin phrase for "guardian of someone under aged". :D Loco Parentus have a driving punk/pop sound that ressembles bands like The Offspring,Blondie , Nirvana, etc. We hope you enjoy our songs.DOWNLOAD THEM! at our myspace page: myspace.com/locoparentus

Great vocals and sound. Reminds me of No Doubt or Blonde, two of my favorite groups.Also like the guitar and drum work. Keep it up.I rate it a 5
