I started playing guitar in the Army. I was 17 years old. How I "became" a musician is beyond me, because I can't remember a single moment in my life that music wasn't an important part of it. I think what I'm trying to say is that music is everything to me. From the time my mind started to hold memories, (which is when I was two) Everything was music to me; the wind in the trees, the rain on a metal roof, kids laughing in the summer evenings of Lebanon IL in the 70s...the world moves to a melody, and I heard it as a child, and the world gave me a gift of making my own melodies. I don't do this because I want to, I do it, because, if I don't, I would implode or something...these songs pour out of this part of me that I can't even understand sometimes; thank you for taking the time to listen to them.
