Hi. I've been playing longer than I care to admit to but always playing. At twelve years old my mother browbeat me into learning to play the piano and it eventually became something resembling fun. Then rock turned a pleasant corner in the 60's and I ran into a good guitar player who taught me guitar. It gave me direction and I never wavered. First with a five piece band, The Satellites, playing a mix of stuff and then to eight pieces, the Night Train, that played black music. Then on to the road, as a blues/rock trio with an agent in Milwaukee. It didn't seem like we ever came home but eventually this version of "The Night Train" did. Then different faces, different tastes, different places, But I've always played. Sometimes different bands, but usually "The Night Train"
11/'09 Hi, I'll add a little more today. Thank you very much for the votes and the comments. You have made an old players day. Writing is a feast and famine thing for me. I am presently on a roll but haven't recorded anything new for about a year. Am trying to get eleven songs, as good as I possibly can, ready for Itunes. Endless remixing and re-recording tracks. What a head trip. My "Studio??", is located in the basement between the furnace and the washing machine so sometimes my tracks include blowing sounds and the unsolicited rhythm section of the Maytag. With that, good luck to you all, keep on playing and bye for now. Marshall
P.S. I have a few tunes of a different style on myspace.com/marshallandersonmusic
