Biography
My name is Marvin E. Davis.
Music is my life. It keeps me sane, sooths my soul, regenerates me when I might be down.
Most tuff obstacle many have is getting songs recorded decent. How else are they ever going to get heard. Thank God for computers these days. It has really opened a door for us musicians, singers and songwriters.
Oh, about me, I was raised on Country and Gospel. My daddy was my greatest inspiration. He played and sang till his last breath took him Home. Will post a few songs we got recorded of him from time to time. Yeah he, Gorman O. Davis wrote many songs too. Where ya think I got this from?
I also want to thank whomever put “SYM” together. God bless you for creating this wonderful opportunity for us all.
And good luck to all of you who have and will join. Let us always keep America singing and dancing and praising.

Good Music can be sold if it gets heard. I know many great singers and songs have never been heard,never will be. This world is just that way, but it does't have to be.
There are a lot of you not buying CD's because what you want is not there to buy. But that hasn't changed what is promoted and heard, neither has this changed us one bit. Only made us turn them off and not buy the menu they serve.
This is not a put down to any type of good music, it is only a real problem that actually does in fact exist. And if anyone with the power and control realizes this fact, he or she could make a bundle of money that can't be made unless it is included on the menu along with the others.
And this is why, free downloads has kicked them so hard. The only place we can get many of those songs anymore.
For mankind always invents someway in time of need, just as it is with all inventions, they came to "be" because some one needed or wanted this or that which didn't exist, and created it themselves.
