Biography
I'm a Canadian, living in Lakefield,Ontario. I've been composing music since I was a teenager but it's only in the last year or so, following a 25 year hiatus, that I've finally been writing again. It was just prior to this that I started seriously listening to country music. Almost immediately I was struck by the wonderful stories that are often told in many of those songs. Although I still enjoy listening to my old Beatles albums, my main influence now comes from such artists as Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, Willie Nelson and even from that little sweetheart of country music, Taylor Swift. No less influential are fellow Canadians, Paul Brandt and George Canyon. Although I may sing and play the guitar, I prefer to consider myself as more of a composer than a performer. My greatest desire is to hear a professional artist performing my music.
Composing a song is like working on a puzzle. In both cases, you know what it's supposed to look/sound like when your done. All you need to do is put all the pieces in the right place.

With the exception of the background guitar on "A Promise Kept", all guitar tracks were performed by Barry Haggarty (the man is amazing!) Oh ya and I musn't forget to mention Barry's superbly performed oooh's in A One Night Stand (a little inside joke!)
