Biography
Vox/Guitar: Joe Maynard. Vox/Guitar: Jacques-Maurice Botton (aka "Mo"). Bass: Dennis Shealy. Drums/Vox: Jim Thomas. Violin: Naa Koshie Mills. Drew Glackin: Spirit in the Sky. Our music is not very thought out, other than the content of each individual song. We just play what we think sounds good. Most of us happen to be from the South. I (Joe) lived in Nashville before coming up to NYC to go to Art School, so I guess the country/indy rock thing reflects our backgrounds in the simplest of ways. Mo, Dennis and Jim play in a little outfit called Mr. McGregor. Musties album in the works with a fun, talented and well known producer, but I don't want to jinx it by blabbing too much about it... Very excited. You will hear about it.

I've written numerous short stories, essays and poems before really ploughing into song writing. You can google my name and stuff will come up. I'm not exactly a super-duper guitar player. The guitar is just part of the phrasing for me, but I do have 2 guitars that I'm in love with and play them all the time. I leave the more complicated stuff (ie- leads) to Mo and the others.

This is really catchy music. Had to listen to it a couple of times. Vocals and guitars are right on point. Here's a big 5 from the West Coast. Drop me a line. Peace Edward
