From Sayreville N.J,Michael O'Connor who is the singer/songwriter of the band started Mikell's Plot in year 2000.Not being to picky about image, Michael O'Connor decided to get the best musicians to form the band.Michael first selected his boss George Rivera who is his bass player and was a former Atco records recording artist.Then he selected Isander Vega who played drums for him in 1995 with his solo project The Mike O'Connor Band.Then he found leadguitarist Mike Mondano off The New Jersey unsigned bands music compilation record .Mike Mondano was the 2000 Guitar Center King of blues champion.Mikell's Plot is playing all over The Garden state and has opened up for many national acts at clubs like The StarlandBallroom in Sayreville,The Stone Pony in Asbury Park,The Meadowlands Fair Giant Stadium,The Perth Amboy waterfront Festival, and many other large venues.Mikell's Plot appeared on a compilation record with Monster Magnet and Skid Row.Had seven #1 songs on www.soundclick.com and has over 9,000 fans on www.myspace.com!Mikell's Plot's goal is to get signed to a label that can help them and record all their new songs.Currently the band is working with Producer Richard Kirk who produced bands that were on the show The Sopranos.Michael O'Connor believes a band is like a baseball team.When you mix veterans with youngsters you will develop one hell of a band.
