(May. 2011) I wanted to get this song recorded so a few musicians I know could hear the words and melody. The song I\\\'ve Been Down Before was played live with just keyboard, with built in drums and bass. Its rough but there wasn\\\'t much prep and I wasn\\\'t trying to impress. A good piece of information on demos; too much polish could actually hurt your chances of getting recognized, so I have read. Its that extra ordenary that may captivate a potential sponser.

(March, 2011)I added a couple of songs I recorded with just me and the piano with built in drums and bass. I\\\'v Been Down Before and How Can I Love You both live recordings.

(Jan. 2011)These songs definitly need work but they are still fun to listen to. They have for the most part been recorded in a single take. There is a great deal of editing to be completed before I would consider these a finished product. But to perform them in this type of venue the quality can be expressed as simply fundamental. All songs were recorded within the last 2 months (have a day job) and if you listen closly you will hear an elevator going up and down in the back ground which really effects the vocales and the whole of the recordings,not in a good way. After recording in this type of atmostphere you can understand and realize what a positive, productive, creative, supportive environment would do for a song where the concentration is on the production of a decent sound not how much money you have to spend.

To be honest I wonder what these songs would sound like with a full band and a real effort made in the production.

To understand the lyrics in the first song I know it sounds like I am saying surrender my mind but if you say schlieren in my mind really fast it sounds similiar so please listen carefully.
