Biography
Brooke was aged between ten and fifteen when these songs were recorded. Influences on her singing have been the greats, such as Eva Cassidy, Alison Kraus, and many other contemporary women. One will hear a clear soprano voice which can be used for lower register songs. Brooke's voice has a depth and timbre which is quite individual. She sounds like no other singer.
Now in year ten, Brooke is looking forward to consolidating her skills, and hopes to major in music and singing leading to a career in music education, as well as some level of participation in the music entertainment field.
Brooke sings almost non-stop during her waking hours, and singing and music dominate her activities.
Although an excellent lyricist, Brooke would dearly love musicians to write seriously good melodies for her. There are a number in the pipeline, and she will record them, time permitting, this year.
PLEASE... Would someone write a HIT for her?
An update. Brooke has moved from Victoria to Queensland, 1000 miles or 1600km away. She'll also be pursuing singing as a major subject during the last two years of high school.
