Biography
My name is Tristan. You can Call Me nemysys. I call myself nemysys because I am the exact opposite of any techno music most people have heard before. I do not follow the rules of conventional techno and as such my music reflects it. Listen to a few songs and you will understand. Feedback is always great. Criticism is an artist's best tool. Please, criticise away.
Included here are a few remakes of already composed songs by famous artists. In no way do I claim these pieces as my own as the music is definitely not mine. All I claim are the instrument and effect changes. I made these remakes from MIDI files obtained from the internet. All orchestration was done by others. As I said, all I am responsible for is the instrumentation and FX.
Influences include many sources. I enjoy much classic rock and I use the experimental nature of such bands and Pink Floyd, Yes, The Who and late Pink Floyd founder Syd Barrett as inspiration to go beyond the boundaries of normal music. My music is far from normal, but I hope it sounds good. Pink Floyd's music was, and still is, considered to be very 'out there' and that is what I like to be, 'out there'. As for genre related influences, I really enjoy the music of Daft Punk, Eiffel 65, Daniel Bedingfield and Aphex Twin. Aphex Twin has given me ideas for some of my more messed up songs (see Mushrooms and Acid) while Daft and Eiffel just give me the will to keep going, to keep trying to reach that place.
