I DID NOT WRITE THIS SONG I JUST WANTED TO GET SOMETHING ON HERE TO SHOWCASE MY VOICE. TRIED TO COMPLETE THE VIDEO UPLOAD..THIS IS ALL I COULD GET TO UPLOAD ON VIDEO. CONVERTED FILES TO MP3 FOR SONG IT CHANGED MY SOUND SOMEWHAT ( THIS IS THE BEST I CAN DO WITH THE EQUIPMENT I HAVE ). I THINK MY MOST TRUE SOUND IS ON VIDEO ALTHOUGH YOU ONLY GET 20 SECONDS. WILL TRY TO FIGURE IT OUT LATER...Hello, My name is Justin Collins and I was born and raised in the Bootheel of Missouri, not too far from where Sheryl Crow and Trent Tomlinson hail from.. I am a singer, guitarist, and a songwriter. I have written a alot of good material and I feel like few radio quality songs have been born from that material. I have been singing for as long as I can remember, and picking and playing guitar for about 14yrs. I enjoy working crowds and meeting new people. I have been told by friends, coworkers, family, total strangers, that I have a strong, mellow country voice. I also have the ability to change up my voice, and have been told thats rare. I have a UNIQUE SOUND ALL MY OWN... I was raised up on all the greats of Country Music, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr, Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty, George Jones, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams Jr, Rodger Miller, Johnny Paycheck, Charlie Pride, Waylon Jennings, Faron Young, Porter Wagoner, Grandpa Jones, Bob Wills, Buck Owens, David Allen Coe, Box Car Willie, Eddie Arnold, Jimmy Rodgers, George Strait, and Alan Jackson ( whose picture resides on my grandma's shelf along with the rest of the kids.) I once had the great honor to shake the hand of Johnny Cash at a show in Branson Missouri. I listen to all types of music from Outlaw Country to Southern Rock to Metal and Folk. I have had so many musical influences, way too many to mention..... It is my hope to see Outlaw Country make a comeback and Traditional Country to stay around... Although, I am not against trying Contemporary Country and or New Country. I am working on getting some of my songs on here, someday...so stay tuned...I want to do old school sound with a rockin' new country twist.
