Pennan Brae (www.pennanbrae.com) recorded Shaded Joy, his first EP, in Malpeque, PEI, under the tutelage of Paul Milner at A Major Sound Studio. Working with top Island musicians and producers on the project, the release consists of 7 songs, both ballads & up-tempo numbers.
'Anyways' the lead single from 'Shaded Joy', has received airplay on 55 Radio Stations in the U.S., totaling over 900 spins. As of July 2009, it is charting at Number 9 on FMQB's Top 40 AC Chart. Follow-up tracks are 'Something's Missing' & 'Pathways'.
'Shaded Joy' is garnering airplay on College Radio, having been added to playlists of over 70 stations across Canada & the U.S. It is also receiving airplay in Australia, New Zealand, Japan & Europe.
Pennan Brae's 2nd EP, the 7-song 'Amber Glow', is scheduled for release in 09-09.
