Biography
Piranah is a veteran band, founded in 1993 by Matt Seckinger(formerly of Plaster Frown), in Nashville,TN. Many lineup changes, with singer Darren Andrews joining in 1995. Drummer Chris Higgins(formerly of Sins of Memory),
and Thorin Milliken, completed the roundup in late 2006. Piranah writes great metal songs that fall into no particular metal genre, but incorporates all. Piranah is unclassifiable and have a sound that is completely their own, and with their expert songwriting in hand, they will continue to make all the noise possible!!
Having opened up for just about everybody, they landed the prominent role of doing the theme song for the movie-tv show for HBO, Truth or Dare, beating out Rob Zombie and The Bloodhoud Gang!
They set out to make a career of writing good songs with their international street teams behind them! Piranah has played in 41 countries, and had a number 6 mp3. Piranah reformed in 2005 in La Vergne,TN because of the continued support of their loyal fans!
