Not looking for a recording contract, just interested in finding if there is a market for any of the songs.

Recordings have been made on a Tascam (Tape) 4 track home studio, or more recently on a Tascam 8 track (Digital) home studio.

The guitar in the picture is a 1970's Shaftesbury 12 string, it is like another guitar!

I had the real thing but preferred the Shaftesbury, it's a gem. Also use a Fender Strat, and an Epiphone Les Paul. Keyboards are a Casio and a Roland.


All instruments played and most recordings are by me, including most of the vocals. Children in Africa is sung by my daughter Mandy, it needed a child's voice to bring out the message in the song.

Set My Spirit Free was recorded with a good friend named Pete Nettleton, and was recorded in his studio.


Music has been a major part of my life, having learned to read music playing trumpet in a brass band it went on from there - church organ playing, pub piano! and many years guitarist, keyboard and vocalist in pop music and country bands.

I like meaningful lyrics, and tend to write the words first then the music. BUT now and again a really nice chord sequence or a few notes can start a song. I suppose it depends where the ideas come from.
