Biography
Rick Hale is a composer, producer, keyboard/piano player and music teacher, who currently resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife and 2 children (all of whom are also musicians). He has worked on a variety of projects ranging from latin to folk, and from rock to jazz, as well as music for soundtrack. Many of these styles are reflected in Rick's own music. The samples of selected music come from several different CDs that were composed and recorded by Rick Hale in his studio. "Native Child" is here in it's full-length, while the rest of the tracks are one to two minute demos. Most of the tracks are co-produced with renowned drummer, Garry King, and recorded with acoustic and electric guitarist maestro, Brian Moore. Additional electric guitars on "Work" are from the talented guitarist Andres Montoya.
Jazz tracks were recorded with Marty FitzSimons on tenor sax. The track "Native Child" began as a melody line and title, of Marty's, before turning into an urban jazz groove.
Rick's desire is to become involved in composing and recording music for film and commercial music, and to inspire others by spreading hope through his music. For contact info or inquries, email me here, or at: www.myspace.com/rickhale
