Biography
I was born on March 29th in Detroit, MI. My mother, Sandra Mallett-Edwards was the lead vocalist for two groups at Motown records in the sixties. I grew up around music and really liked to sing and entertain. But, at the ripe old age of four, I started writing poems, then putting melodies to them. I thoroughly enjoyed the art of writing and arranging songs. All through elementary, middle and high school, I kept writing and finally decided I would like, or should I say "LOVE" to collab with other writers and write for artists. After high school, I began singing with various local bands and still felt like something was missing, even though I was having a ball. After a few years of cover songs all night, I finally got back to the creative side of my brain and found I could write songs and arrange background vocals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is definately work but when you love what you're doing, it's not hard at all!
