Biography
"You're so wierd! You always singing and dancing and laughing. Shut up sometimes". The never cursing raptress and talented superstar remembers her sister screaming. Bringing positive energy into the game thats bound to leave REAL Hip Hop lovers bow down. She is not a rapper, She is an MC. Born in the South Bronx, New York and moving to Schenectady, New York as a child,JAZZELL WILLIAMS has been born a star or excuse us, a rockstar. She took to music very early as a child. "My mom & dad were always listening to the oldies and people like Marvin Gaye & Aretha Franklin. My sister and my cousins were more into rap & new school Hip Hop like Ja Rule and D-Block and i just grew into all of it.

Straight A student Jazzell[born Jasmine Williams] 1st got her start at age 9 when she joined a choir section at her school. Her music teacher was elated at the distance Jazzell would go to hold notes and remain in the tone. That same year made up a rap to a Lil'Kim Song titled "Aunt Dot". She "spit" the rhyme to her older sister who flipped! 2 years later Jazzell came back with another rhyme to a Lil'Kim song titled "Shake Ya Bum Bum". She remembers her sister being amazed and wanting her to do the rap over and over again. By the time Jazzell got to 6th grade she had laid low on the rapping a little bit in order to focus on her education. "I just loved school!(laughs) I dont know what it was and I still love school but I was in love. Like whenever i would get sick and my mom would make me stay home I would cry (more laughs).

Until the first day in 6th grade when Jazzell discovered one of her childhood friends could rap. She witnessed this friend battle a boy in her class who she also thought could rap. Almost immediately Jazzell got up and walked over to the middle school battle. "I can spit too" and that's exactly what she did. Jazzell battled the boy right on the spot and got the whole class' approval that she had talent. "I remember thinking i was gonna get into trouble because the teacher had told the class to be quiet. I remember that was his first year in the school and we were his homeroom and 1st period class. He looked at me with this look like he was amazed and asked me if what i just rapped was original. So I'm like 'Yeah and I'm so sorry!!'(giggles) And he just shook my hand and told me that I was goin to be a star. Then he let us keep rapping that day. I was floored".

After telling her father Tyrone and getting his approval in the whole situation, Jazzell did small shows during school for the classmates who didn't know. 9th grade year was it.2006-2007. The Year of the Myspace and Youtube phenomenon. Jazzell uploaded a track onto a music page and had the whole neighborhood bumping it. "Official" was officially a neighborhood hit. When rapping it to her mother Jazzell reclaims her mother saying "You sound like Roxanne Shante". It wasn't until a song called "Go For It" that things really took off. "I mean the whole neighborhood was going crazy. I had family members who didn't know that i could rap but looked on my myspace page from my cousins and called me just wilding out."

Getting props left and right Jazzell was invited to to a showcase with underground female artists at the National Historical Black Theater of Harlem. In the same room with the likes of Roxanne Shante, The Original Spinderella from Salt N Peppa, La Bruja, Black Cezar(whom is her cousin from the summer hit "Aunt Jackie"), and many others. The showcase was called "The Females of Hip Hop Streets Mos' Conference" and Jazzell was ready. After a panel of underground celebrity and urban legend judges talked about staying in school, being different and following your dreams she was ready to show everyone what she was about.

"I was so nerveous. First they had all the females freestyle then i went on to do my song. Now I'm standing up their with my colorful shoes & my mohawk & my 'Panic! At The Disco' shirt and I was just so nerveous. The song i was performing was about following your dreams and working hard to get to where you wanna be. So I start rapping or whatever when the beat dropped and pretty soon I start movin the stage, because it's not like i can see anyone with the cameras flashing and what not. I just performed 'Go For It' ". And Go For it she did. Making sure she gave shout outs to her most noted crews "Team Rockstar" & "Dipset Divaz", getting offered countless deals and a standing ovations whereever she performed, Jazzell also known as Ms Big Dreams is a force to be recking with.

You have never seen a young girl,15 to be presice[born May 24th, 1992], rhyme so nice with a unique Skateboard Nerdy Punk Rock style(as she calls it). The lyrics are truth and the punchlines are insane. She raps about following dreams, being a teen, the dangers she seen growing up and how her flow effects the world.Who admires the talents of Lauryn Hill,Aaliyah, Kanye West & Gwen Stefani for all being artists who marched to their own drums. The one in millions, just like Jazzell Williams. Who can make you think like Jazzell? Thats right....NO ONE. There is only one Jazzell Williams and only one Rockstar of Hip Hop.
