The Crew originated in Vancouver, BC, Canada. It's first opening gig took place in Marpole Masonic Hall, January 1, 2000. Since then, the Disc Jockey Group visited and performed at almost all the Masonic Halls in the lower mainland. Sometime in the mid-summer of 2002, Sean Schotts (Owner & Disc Jockey of Ruffneck Crew) had the idea of mixing music to Anime Videos. Thus, turning Ruffneck Crew Disc Jockeys into Western Canada's Premier Anime Video Dance Show. In 2005, Ruffneck Crew Disc Jockeys opened up a Web Site, but the group didn't want the responsability of making domain name payments until they were satisfied the Site was presentable. The Web Address started as http://s010600022d24c5d9.ek.shawcable.net, then www.sean.shadowmage.org to finaly www.ruffneckcrew.com. Today, Ruffneck Crew Disc Jockeys in Cranbrook, BC, Canada, has been training and preparing to mix live for a gig sometime this October. For more information, visit
