In most cases, it isn’t hard to recognize a future star when you see one. However after taking one look at this Smooth Talking prince from the south, it’s not hard to see that one is standing right before your eyes. Sean has strategically chosen his own lane and has been swiftly racing to conquer his ultimate goal; becoming a respected artist and idol.
Sean Simpson has conquered so much in his 25 years on this earth, and although he remains humble, he wants to add the Music industry to that list. Growing up in Palm Beach, Fl, Sean has been rapping and performing since he was 14 years old. After developing a passion for music, he decided to take it to another level. He left athletics on the backburner, and formed a rap group called “The Lyrical Committee” later known as D.O.E. When the other group members went down different paths after graduating high school, Sean, equipped with his music and rhyme books, embarked on his own path to the University of South Florida. Sean Simpson quickly made a name for himself at the University, using his sharp lyrical skills, and unique style to make his name known as Sean Simp.
In 2004, Sean approached Friend, Classmate, and Ambitious Entrepreneur David Melhado to act as his Personal Manager and partner. Being partners, remained to become the real foundation to develop there formula for success. Since partnering with David and Urbaneyes Music and Marketing, Sean Simp has attracted much attention from his 1st Club single Must Be Jelly featuring Legendary Tampa Artist Strizzo. “Must Be Jelly” became a huge phenomenon on the University of South Florida campus and Tampa Bay clubs within a matter of weeks of the initial release. Requested to perform at almost all Campus functions Sean has opened up for various superstars such as Chamillionare, Tierra Mari, Lil Wayne, Strizzo, Rick Ross, Juelz Santana, and T-Pain, just to name a few. Sean Simp has been featured in the Florida Sentinel Magazine on two occasions in addition to the Neighborhood Watch section of Hood Magazine (Oct.2006 Edition).
For his forthcoming album “Talk of the Town”, Sean Simp has worked with Strizzo, L&L Productions, Bakaz Men, Smooth Sound Studios and Black Cat Entertainment. Also look forward to new tracks from Sean Simp titled “Roll My Dough”, “Mr. Lover Man”, and “Keep My Paper Runnin”.
