Early in her singing career Lauri Merrow kept her originals close to her heart, sharing them only with a chosen few, and Lauri was a favorite club and café singer in the north shore cities and towns of Massachusetts. Lauri never let her passion for singing and songwriting dwindle.

In 2005, Lauri moved to Nashville. She quickly made her way into the songwriting circles and captured the hearts of many with her powerful vocals. Her voice is unique and her lyrics send strong and beautiful messages. Lauri has never disappointed her enthusiastic fans.

Within the first year, she released her debut CD "Leave the Porch Light On" which is available through digital downloads on Amazon.com and at her live performance.

She is currently working with an independent record label based in Nashville, Russonic Records, and has just released her second CD "Body & Soul". This one is available on CD Baby.

She is proud that most of her songs now are co-written with her husband.

Simpli Lauri’s music is being heard in many other countries, such as Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Great Britain and Austria, where her music enjoys a lot of airtime.
