Their music is like mixing the haunting voice of The Cranberries with a double dose shot of Sixx A.M. making
Soul Distraction the perfect cocktail for soberly thoughtful nights and days.
Elsa Faith and Marty Mitchell, the founding members of the band, have been performing and composing songs for over 20 years
with continuous effort to better enhance their songwriting.
"Believe it or not, music can make amazing positive changes in people's lives. We remember when we were kids and looking up
to our idols and how easily influenced we can be. We aspire to be a good example to the future generation by capturing our
thoughts and pouring this creativity into the many different molds that people have individually created."
Formed only in July 2006, they are proud to have performed in seven US states as well as South East Asia. This young band
have also self-released one full-length CD and two EPs with the second full-length well underway. Their diligence has earned
them interviews on an LA Radio Station, as well as a two full-page write up in the second most read paper in Singapore.
Seeing their fans smile and sing along to the tunes as though the words had been engraved inside their hearts is what keeps
the fire burning.
