Streisand, Eartha Kitt, Rosemary Clooney, Dinah Washington, Julie London, Sarah Vaughan, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Astrud Gilberto, Nancy Wilson, Keely Smith, Carmen McRae, Lena Horne, Peggy Lee, Mae West, The Carpenters, et al. Rock influences are Peter Gabriel, Tina Turner, Be Bop Deluxe, Robert Palmer and Bon Scott, and of course Janis Joplin... among many others.
