This showcase has him recording a set where he plays the role of the drummer on a gulf island. Also , there is a song he wrote and plays all the instruments,and sings. ( Oh , and he wrote all the words). Let's face it , he's now talking about himself in third person. ...The REAL story is that "Phooom " is just a sound. It was produced by some tribe of savages by stretching catgut sinew over a pigs rear and blowing very hard, which produced a magnificent sound. ("Phoom" ). Unfortuneatly , this was the only way this sound could be produced. (And now Nick is really going to kill me , as not only is he the genius on the sax here who makes this whole thing work , but he is also the teller of the legend being passed down).
