The Story of The Kerosene Man begins on the other side of the Atlantic ocean from where he is now. I was born and raised in eastern Canada (Newfoundland.) There I learned my love for almost all types of music. I've been paying guitar for a little more than twenty (20) years now and Bass for a little more than three (3.) I played in little known, went nowhere bands in Canada from the age of fourteen (14) until I moved to Belgium at age twentynine (29.)
Now after five years in Flanders I have the equipment and the drive to make the music I always wanted to. The songs listed here and on my myspace profile "www.myspace.com/thekeroseneman" are all entirely written and performed by me. Except for the drums. The one instrument used I can't play.....yet. I use a Midi program for those.
I'm in the process of getting this music the professional attention it deserves (mixing and mastering) and plan to self produce my first cd sometime this year. Probably mid August to late September.
