wrote and perfromed all of the songs listed on this site. So far, it's just me and my 25 year old Yamaha classical, singing in my livingroom into a digital pocket recorder. I am looking into having some professional demos made but haven't gotten around to it yet. I was born and raised in a little town in Northern California called Fort Bragg, which is a foggy little logging and fishing town. I moved to the Portland, Oregon area in 1993. I started playing the guitar at age fourteen to help lead worship for my church youth group. I wrote my first song at age fifteen and have written only a few songs since that time. These days, I play mostly for my children or around the campfire. My recent songwriting activity started when I decided to write a song for one of my daughters in January 2007. The result was "Blowin Kisses" AKA "Daddy's Little Girl." Writing that song reconnected me with the joy I found in writing songs as a teenager. Since then, I have written several other songs, mostly about personal life experiences and lessons. A few of those songs are posted here.
