Washro is a five piece band that was born and raised in the suburbs just outside of Chicago Illinois. Their influences mainly come straight out of the old school book; from Motley Crue, and Skid Row, and some modern day rock like Silver Tide. Their goal is to preserve the rock from the past but at the same time add a twist to it. Washro was formed in 2005 with three members. The band wasn’t completed until last year 2006 with the last two members. They have grabbed attention to their music from the mayor of their hometown Hoffman Estates Illinois, and a neighboring town’s annual summer festival in Palatine, called Street Fest. Washro is a high energy band that brings the competition to the table. The band incorporates the audience throughout their entire performance creating a party-like atmosphere. Washro has been working their way from the basement to the streets for the past year and have done extremely well. By releasing their brand new demo cd entitled “Eleven 0’5” which was engineered by the very talented Jim Johnson of Planet 10 Studios in Barrington Illinois.
