Born Gary Joseph Jr. the oldest of 6, Seven always had the love for music. Growing up listening to his father play records by Gorge Clinton, Sade, & Haitian artist gave Seven a wide spread love for music as a whole. By age 10 hip hop was Seven's main focus. Reciting rhymes by some the hip hops greats Seven's love for rap grew. He had a knack for writing. By age 13 he had notebooks filled with rhymes, never had the confidence to let anyone hear them. A year later he and his family moved from Brooklyn to Boston, MA. Boston wasn't too different from Brooklyn."I was still in the hood" Moving around from spot to spot finally landed him in Brockton. Seven still had the love for hip hop and was still writing. After becoming friends with some of the neighborhood kids, they would come over and put instrumentals on and rap to them. Still not taking the gift he possessed seriously, they would just do it for fun. By high school two good friends of his, Keon & Vic who were known for their rap skills used to start rap cyphers and freestyle at lunch and after school at friends houses. Seven was always reluctant to rap. One day during one of the cyphers Seven jumped in." It was crazy I just started flowing, and I haven't stopped since." Later on Seven linked up with two friends of his Murda, & Salemme and they formed a group called "Goodfellaz", they were mentored by the Boston group "8Bus". Goodfellaz didn't end off working out, the three went different ways. Seven went on with life, had a few run INS with the law. The street had him for a while, but with the help of his brother James (JMac) he jumped back into the music scene with BigStuff Productions based out of Brockton, MA. The founder of BigStuff Productions John aka "Big" was like a father figure to Seven. "He gave me the blueprint, the rest was up to me". Since then he's been featured on mix tapes such as: Big N Brock vol.1, NewJackCity, BigStuff Vs the Industry Rap & R&B version, & Storm the City. In 2009 auditioning for a Boston talent show Seven reconnected with long time friend Mikael Dodd who is also the president of Fact Family Music Group. Also meeting a fellow artist” Pretty Poison”. For about a year Seven teamed up with Mikael and Pretty Poison and continued to perform threw out MA. Doing shows such as "The Unsigned Explosion Tour" NY meets Boston, Opened up for Freeway at the Dublin House, Touch 106.1 FM radio with Rusti, Unregular Radio with Dave Crespo etc. Currently Seven has signed with Pretty Poison's independent record label "STREET F.E.L.O.N.S. ENTERPRISE". With an album in the works for the summer of 2011, and his mixtape BOUT DAT TYME VOL.1 hosted by Wally Sparks which is available now on datpiff.com/Datboyez, and threw Seven himself, he is going harder than ever to make his dreams of stardom come true.
