Ahkeem Quadral-Kymaine Murphy, better known as Yung Prince, was born on June 29th, 1993 in Madison, Wisconsin.

Ahkeem Murphy was just an ordinary kid before he found his interest in music. He started at the age of 13 that's when he found a way to record his songs at his Madison Wisconsin home. As you could probably imagine the sound quality wasn't as great but that didn't stop him from pushing out tracks.

During 2006 Yung Prince constantly released new songs every single day. He also started his very own mixtape witch those songs were places onto. The name of the mixtape was (X-UP Records Mixtape VOL.1) the term "X-UP Records" is the name of the indie record company he started.

As time went on his buzz grew more and more around the city. Then he started doing local shows. He did many shows at clubs & special events. His first performance was at The Annex. That was his first ever live performance he thought it would be a piece of cake oh yeah just get on stage and rap my song! big deal! that's not hard. But after it was time for his to get on stage his fears crept up on him. He got nervous and forgot his lyrics, He tried his hardest to recite his lyrics in his head but for some strange reason he couldn't remember them. So when he got on stage he just went with the flow and tried to remember everything. Now every Yung Prince concert he show's tons of energy to the crowd.

Yung Prince has currently been working on his new CD "Behind All The Smoke" & is also currently working on his new movement "The YP Movement".

Ahkeem Murphy is acknowledged for his fresh and unique lyrical style. A rarity among the current youth rappers, the expressive voice is eager to bring something fresh for your ears. Youngest in his style, the perfectionist is destined for success.
