Nov 6 2k6 - Jared S. is the new Drummer! A lil info from Jared Hello Neutrulize fans!! I am excited and honored to now be a part of Neutrulize!! Drumming for little under a decade. I'm the Percussion Director of Renaissance Baton & Drum Coprs based out of Penn Hills. I am 2nd snare for the Mon Valley Express Drum & Bugle Corps. Am an avid drum teacher and active in individual drum set competitions. I play a 4 piece Peal Export Series Black Gloss Finish. Cymbals are Zildjian ZBT. Snare is a 2003 custom snare from Orange County Drums & Percussion (20 Ply, Black Gloss finish, thrice throw off, offset lugs and 4 vents). Too many influences to name. Some of the bands that'll always be up there are : Thrice, Pink Floyd, NIN, Deftones, Blink, etc. So i can't wait to get going. And am looking foward to contributing to this already rockin band!! !!UPDATE!! Oct 30th 2k6 Our drummer shawn has official quit the band. we are looking for drummers and vocalist so we can get major shows back on the road. send a message if you or anyone you know would be interested. in auditioning for us It all started in July of 05. This is before Jason joined and we had Scott Kennedy .The original line-up was Jordan on guitar, Scott on guitar, and Shawn on bass.Then a couple of months later Jordan met Jason at a party, they started talking about music and Jordan mention he was in a band. Well next practice it was Jason and Scott on guitar and Jordan on bass, Shawn was not there because he was not informed about the practice. It was the next practice when everyone was there they formed there own unique sound.Jordan handed Shawn a snare drum to hit and long behold it was the key to the band. We all found our part in the band. After that practice Scott had not come to practice, we started saying the band was a 3-some.Then one day scott came over for practice and it was his last practice. Scott had got sponcered in snowboarding by redbull ( we wish the best to Scott). About a month later Jasons brother Jon Blednick came to practice to play guitar, he has joined the band officially in November 05- now he has officially moved out of the band March 06. In the end of April we got another guitar player (Pete Kasper). Pete was a good friend of jordans back in the churchdays of about 12 years ago. One day Pete msgd Jordan about him having a band and saying that he noticed we were looking for another guitar player so after that Jordan asked Pete to come to a practice. well now thats the story to how Pete Kasper joined NeuTruLize. In mid June Shawn has officially left the band. Through constant confrontations between his girlfriend and members of the band he has decided which road he is going to stay with and have left his family (band) for her, and has been totally different toward members ever since. In other news, we have picked up an awesome drummer, Drew, with only his first practice he did great and we know that with a few more sessions will have things down pat. We're still playing our shows for June, so get ready to jump and have a ton of fun! back to the story, after some decisions and rough times Shawn and Jon are back in again . The old "band" has been reunited in August. WE also have a studio DEmo cd with seven songs on it. If you like us let us know and we'll keep you posted for any shows or new songs.
