T-Tocs & $hort$top are brothers. They been writing, rapping n' producing their own stuff since 2002 but have been writin' since they teens n' since they fatha left them when they was young. They been puttin' together mixtapes n' demos for the streets in they home town n' they getta lotta love shown. Now, they have their own Independent Record Label called, "Addic Records" and they can finally put they stuff out to the mainstream for all to hear. They got the label back in October of 2004 basically out of nothing, no money but are hopin' someday they label will take off n' blow up with some help. Their slogan that they go by is "being Addics n' being hooked". They are Addics at what they love doing and that is makin' music and performing n' they true at what they do, they not fake. They aint in it for the money they just love the music and if I were ya'll I think I would admire that n' respect that. They are also in a Hip Hop group that they created called Tha Addic Fam. Their local newspaper featured a article on the duo of brothers back in Spring of 2005 for their music career, Indy Label, struggle, dedication n' loyalty to the culture. They are currently the only Hip Hop acts to be featured in their local newspaper as of yet and if you would like a copy of the article then just get ahold of T-Tocs & $hort$top. T-Tocs & $hort$top come from the country side of Western New York aka WNY. They are the first ones to bring Hip Hop music to Allegany County aka (A-County) and the first ones to put A-County on the Hip Hop map. Their music is just straight up off the hook. They are original but creative. They are different from the rest. They come from a less priveleged family where they never had many things in their life but what they do have n' what they have now they've worked hard for it n' urned it by not giving up and many of their friends n' fans respect that about the duo.
