Officially formed in 2001, this modern rock band has a well-rounded mix of influences and personalities. Mike Murphy and Chris Huber met up in the summer of '99, and realized they shared the same dream--to start a rock band. Soon after, they were introduced to the drummer, Dave Pacer…and the band was born. After cycling through a few bass players, they finally landed the world’s most powerful bean—otherwise known as James Huey. The foursome has been pounding out tunes and living their dreams ever since. With a large local fan base and a strong passion for their music, Sunny Side Down simply wants their music to be heard--everywhere. Their songs contain meaningful lyrics that many people can relate to. The melodies and guitar riffs seem to blend their styles together into something that will remind you how powerful music can feel.
