Bio
Fevah was born in the early 80\'s, in New York state. At 6 months old, He moved to Englewood, NJ, where he was raised by his workaholic father and strict grandmother. At the age of 13 he wrote his first rhymes. Not seeing the greatness that lay underneath the surface, he doubted his abilities. The positive feedback from any and everyone who heard his prose, along with support and pressure from his childhood friends, Fevah soon became the cocksure lyricist he was destined to become. His knack for harmonically fitting words together became better, no doubt due to the numerous hours Fevah put into writing, as opposed to getting into trouble, as were his counter parts. Fevah, along with the group he formed with two friends, caught the ear of an A&R for a major label, who presented them with the possibility of a song placement on the upcoming soundtrack for a movie. Unfortunately for him, his groupmates weren\'t as focused or driven as Fevah, and their lack of ambition costed them what the young emcees were sure was their break into the biz. At the age of 15 he moved upstate NY to live with his mother. There he was exposed to different styles and competitiveness. He grew rapidly in skill, performing at local parties and Boys and Girls club affairs. Having learned from his past experiences about being part of a group, he decided it would be best for him to stay a solo act. Living with his mother, Fevah found the financial situation was significantly different from the stability his overworked father provided. Fevah found himself turning to the streets to provide for himself, his family, and a couple years later, a son on the way. Being in the streets full time made it impossible for Fevah to focus on pursuing his music goals. It also wound him up in prison, serving a two year sentence. A year after Fevah was realesed, he met with his present manager, Linda Greenwood, through a mutual friend. He submitted music to her & he aquired her services. She played the cd for a close friend, who happened to be the mother of rap pioneer LL Cool J. Impressed by the talent she was being presented with, Ondrea Smith asked for the opportunity to co-manage Fevah. Linda agreed, thinking a celebrity cosigner could be beneficial to all parties. Management contracts were signed, but soon after all parties agreed to have Ondrea removed from the agreement, due to what seemed like a sudden lack of interest from her. Fevah continues to work toward his goal, which is to obtain a record contract with a major label. His innovative rhyme patterns and aggressive demeanor make him a force to be reckoned with. His powerful delivery along with his witty word play is sure to make the masses crave the Fevah. CHECK OUT MYSPACE WWW.MYSPACE.COM/DIRTYDOLLAHZ201 MIXTAPE COMING SOON!!!
