www.myspace.com/thesmalltownsecret The Small Town Secret started in 2005 with four members. The lead singer and guitarist, Pat Olson was the main man behind writing the music. The band recorded it's first demo in February of 2006. In May of 2006 the band lost their bass player and soon replaced him with Brent Gust, who had never played bass before in his life, but was eager to learn. As luck would have, their drummer broke his leg at Warped Tour in June of 2006 therefore smashing all show hopes and oppurtunities for the summer of 2006. The band started up again in September when they recorded their first titled six song cd, "Faded Friendships and Shattered Circumstances" The band continued to play shows throughout November. In late December the band had its issues with members and Pat and Brent split ways with the drummer and lead guitarist. For two months Pat worked hard on writing new material and the band finally found hope in February of 2007 when veteran drummer Chris Dunn agreed to help them out with shows. The Small Town Secret kept at it and in March of 2007 Chris joined the band. Finally feeling comfortable with the members and the new sound they developed, The Small Town Secret recorded its newest album in April of 2007. The album is not yet finished, the band plans to record more tracks for the cd, but they are playing every show they can and working hard on promoting the band. Each band member loves playing music and strives to get the band's music heard. Thank you for all the support!
