Ciriaco Taraxes - Singer, Songwriter. Born in Serres, Greece. Ciriaco Taraxes is a classically-educated composer, born in Serres, Greece in 1977. He began to write his first songs and compositions and started playing the piano and guitar at the age of six. After winning a scholarship at age fifteen, he studied classical music composition and theory in Athens and Munich... But then there was rock... Ciriaco Taraxes has contributed his composing skills to the following artists: Michael Kiske (formerly of the band Helloween, the songs went number one in japanese album charts), Torn, Mazai and many others.
