Bio
This song was Recorded At Country Nights Around 1992. We had a house gig there. Its not the best performance of it,I could probably have sung it better. The nights and weeks were long, the moniters were basically non existant. I loved these guys and being in Fear Itself. The memories of just riding to and from some of the gigs are priceless. Thanks for stopping By. The Fire Burns On Is an Original Song written By The guitar player Mark McPheeters. All rights reserved. It was recorded live off the board on a cassette deck later burned to mp3 Actually both songs were(never new lonely). We were going for kind of a Hal Ketchum sound that was popular at the time. I really like this song and the harmonies Sung By Dewayne Marshall And Jeff Chapman. The Sky Is Crying Features a smokin Hot solo by Mark McPheeters I am Not much of A Blues Singer. I kind of cop out into a Robert Plant rip Off. But like I said These were recorded live in the early to Mid Ninety's. live so there was some drinking and carrying on involved. It funny because back before the wide use of cell phones between songs I would have to page people to the bar for the phone and some of that is on here. I recieved this Cd for a Christmas Present from Mark and hadn't heard these songs in Years and it's fun to trip down memory lane. I plan to put some of the Stuff I wrote and recorded in Nashville when I lived there. It was recorded on multi track cassette and mixed on ttwo track cassette and I have to put it on Cd hope to do a couple of weeks from now.
