The Great Outdoors are Northampton's (England) finest newest, original acoustic pop outfit. We only play original music. (What's the point of doing covers if your own songs are better than the originals!!!). We play uptempo, happy, sometimes sad, songs about anything from Frogs and Toads to a broken down relationship. We only use 100% recycled paper and plastic on all CD's and posters. Because of our love for nature and all things green,our philosophy goes as far as to say that we only use minimal effects on all our recordings (most of our stuff is completely dry) to avoid cheese, and absolutely no keyboards!!! This keeps cheese out of the equation!!(Being vegans, this results in a harmonious balance with our diets!!!) We like to have a lot of fun and love meeting people, plus hearing from people who are like-minded.
