The Get’Em MoBB hails from Hayward, Ca. One of the anchor cities responsible for the “Hyphy Movement”. Made up of 6 Emcee’s YunG $kootZ, XsplisiT, Nico, KayDuB, 2/TeN, $.KillaH, One Vocalist Jacqui, and an in house producer, S. Man, They have made up a new mixed sound of raw Hip Hop with Bay Area grit and swagger. Since their Debut in the spring of 2005 with the underground mixtape “Four Plus 3 Equalz Goonz”, The MoBB has been gaining popularity as well as notoriety in the Bay. They’re working on their Debut album “BETr EvrY 2nD” as well as their Sophomore mixtape “The Unofficial” that will only be released over the internet, as well as collaborations with such artist' as Skimp Killah, and The ID-BOIZ. Two separate groups and Two Solo artist' make up the “MoBB” as a whole: XXG, (KayDuB, $.KillaH, & YunG $kootZ) formerly known as “NeXXGeN“, $.KillaH released his 1st solo installment‘s “Jerk Chicken & Ginger Punch Vol.1” as well as his Solo Debut Album due to drop in the Spring, “Qwest For The Truth“. DooM CreW, (2/TeN, XsplisiT, & S.Man) who recently released their Junior installment entitled “The New Epic”, In which S.Man solely produced. Jacqui, who has her debut Album out entitled, "The Chance", developed in collaboration with producer David Sparkman. And Nico who also released his debut mixtape, “Back 2 Da Basic’z” under the tutelage of 2/TeN as well as production by S.Man on the Single "Das Wassup". The release gave birth to international uproar in his ancestral homeland El Salvador. KayDuB (Oakland,Ca) and $.KillaH (Hayward,Ca) have been making music together since 2000. YunG $kootz (Hercules,Ca) just recently joined the G.MoBB camp in the summer of 2006, but has the hunger for knowledge that will aide him in his rise to popularity. 2/Ten (Hayward,Ca), Xsplisit (Hayward,Ca) and S.Man (Hayward,Ca) have been making music as DooM CreW since 2003. Starting off at 2/Ten's house with a home studio in his room. Jacqui (Oxnard,Ca) has been singing since the age of 5 and is no stranger to the big lights and stage of the music industry. She joined the Mobb just by chance, through taking the same college class as 2/Ten and Xsplisit. Nico (Hayward,Ca) has been littering tracks since his return from Miami in 2005. He hooked back up with childhood friend's, DooM CreW and in the summer of 2006 he started work on his Mixtape. The “MoBB” as they’re called by the fans, hope to bring Bay Area Lyrical Alternative type music to the mainstream media, while straying from lackluster, repetitive lyrics about drugs, guns, killing, and violence. And replacing them with witty vocabulary that used to liter most Hip Hop tracks. They see themselves more as “lyricist” than just “rappers” or simply “entertainers”, refusing to just follow what everyone else is doing or rhyming about, they set their own goals and blaze their own trails while still delivering what the masses crave in any successful group.
