This duo spans the gap of two generations, Keith being the old guy along side his younger counterpart, Ray. Keith's musical background includes several years with the Royal Conservatory of Music, a member of Up With People, and involvement with several other groups. His Mother was his greatest influence because of her formal musical training and involvement in music as a vocalist. She's always had a good ear and offers constructive criticism when needed. Keith plays keyboard, guitar, harmonica and flute, while Ray plays guitar, and provides the lead vocals. Ray is also showing great promise as a drummer. With a song in their voice this duo started out doing just A cappella. Soon instruments showed up, with things to plug them into and what followed was a meld of true voice/instrument integration. The duo retains it's roots of voice as the principle instrument. Each song typically features fine three or four part harmonies, complimented by rich instrumentation and rock solid rhythms. "We will always evolve," says co-founder Keith. "Music is an expression of life, and life is an evolutionary process. We cannot remain the same and still say we are alive." Both members are from a small town in the mountains of Western Canada. And both still make their homes there. They are entrenched in the community of which they live and like the closeness of knowing their neighbours and the people passing by. But the guys have their sights set on a larger audience and plan to travel with their music to help spread pozitive vibrations wherever they go.
