Hi, this is Mael. Making music has been my obsession for more than 20 years. Then a trip to Istanbul (Turkey) was the trigger. I decided to buy a workstation and then… it exploded. Today I have enough audio material to burn 8 CDs. ELE could be one of them. I work alone, using hard and soft synths. As you can see, my music goes many dirrections, it doesn’t fit with one specific genre. Influences? As a teenager I was fond of progressive rock (YES, GENESIS, JETHRO TULL, KING CRIMSON, GENTLE GIANT) and those days electronica (EMERSON, VANGELIS, TOMITA, SCHULZE, WAKEMAN). Early PINK FLOYD experiments, powerful rock hits from LED ZEPPELIN or ROLLING STONES, beautiful various songs marked my development. I think I’ve got the best of the XX’th century pop music. Then I married a professional musician who guided me into the universe of classical music which is too rich to name preferences. Then, studying Antropology, I discovered ethnic music, ritual and spiritual. The world of the ancients, the basic. This was the beginning in understanding modern art. Consequently my music is a cultural fusion. This definition may look too classy, but my music is both intelligent and beautiful; genuine and sophisticated. It\'s like a rare and precious woman. And just like a precious woman, it requires all your attention and care. It’s not music for dance, it’s not music for meditation, it is not music for anything. It’s just music. All you have to do is listening carefully. The rest will come…
