Laura Ashleigh Stringfellow was born May 7, 1989, in Oklahoma City. She has been singing professionally without a contract for more than three (3) years, and is currently seeking a contract through a reputable record label. Having been cast somewhat unfairly in the shadow of her already internationally famous dog Faith, (www.faiththedog.info) Laura has set out to make her mark through her voice rather than the dog she happens to own and tour with. Laura graduated high school in 2007 and attended one semester of higher education at Oklahoma State University before deciding to pull back and work more closely with her career. Because Laura is so intrigued by Japanese Anime she began learning to speak and sing in Japanese a few years back. To date she has performed for several Japanse based shows and has been working on composing a complete CD singing 11 songs written for and by her in Japanese. She would love to find a sponsor or label in Japan, so if you know anyone - hey - let us know! Laura's dating schedule has been somewhat compromised by her work schedule and her performance schedule, something she would love to change if she can just find the right combination in a man, someone with the same singing passions, anime passions (a must) and someone with just enough shyness to be cute and cuddly. At 21 she's in between that woman and child timeframe, these dynamics make her what she is - and that's what keeps her both vulnerable and strong. Creative thinking is the key to Laura's heart. A writer, singer, songwriter, Laura hopes to be performing for many years to come - all around the world. Having the passport helps! 2011 will find Laura working harder than ever to achieve her goals in music, but her love and pasion for barrel racing is taking a close second!
