Coming out of the small city of Adelaide, Australia( where?) is the best Rock/Pop Duo there ever was! Be amazed at the melodies two people can bring to the world. Spender met when they were 11 years old and have been best friends ever since, they spent their teens making short films and listening to a massive amount of music, then in their twenties playing and recording music in various quality home studios. After years of playing in other peoples bands, Ben and Steve decided it was time to put their song writing skills to the test. With Steve handling most instruments and vocals, Ben working as producer and mixer they set out to make their first real album. The idea was simple, write 30 songs, demo 20 and then record the best 10. Every Tuesday and Thursday they locked themselves in Steve's house and wrote, the subject and lyrics quickly developed and it was clear what they wanted to do. What they ended up with was the 'concept' album The Ten Girls. Ten great songs about longing, relationships and heartache.
