Marcos was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, but when he was very young his family moved to Spain where he eventually became a Spanish national. From a very early age he was interested in music, and always felt attracted to singing. He can't remember at what age he wanted to be a singer, but has tapes of when he was so young that he almost sang before he could talk. Perhaps it had to do with his grandmother, a singer herself, who spent her time training him to sing. Since then Marcos has been trying to be successful in the difficult world of music doing small appearances on TV in Spain at every opportunity, this led him to make his mark as a model in Barcelona, as a clothes model, then as a body building and fitness model. As a professional singer he spent many years traveling all over Spain in an orchestra with appearances in all sorts of local festivals and private parties. This gave him a huge experience to be able to sing even as part of a chorus and as a back-up singer as well all sorts of music - salsa, rock & roll, meringue, pop etc. As a solo artist he worked for 3 years in a concert hall in Barcelona where he was the only singer in a male stripper show for women. This gave him the opportunity to see the effect he had on the huge amount of female fans that he obtained (300 a night), and gave him the insight that his public image could have a very powerful effect. Before arriving in L.A. 2 years ago he had the opportunity to work with a songwriter called Benjamin Estacio who wrote the 2-showcased songs for him, which he taped in a recording studio in Barcelona. The songs are Latin pop rock and romantic that have always been his favorite styles. Since he was young he has always liked to imitate singers like Ricky Martin, Cheyanne and Luis Miguel. Marcos Fabian has also had small roles in soap operas on local television stations in Spain, as he believes that knowing how to act gives him more confidence and more stage presence when he is singing in front of an audience. At this moment in time he hasn't found his artistic niche here in the U.S.A., but is hopeful that he will be given the opportunity to record more songs in the near future, as well as break into Spanish speaking soap operas.
