Bio
I was born in 1987 on the 29th of July in the city of Kaunas in Lithuania. I have no siblings. I lived in a big Russian family with my parents (Roma Mitkaite, Ivanas Mincionok), my aunt (Tania Ragauskiene), my grandmother (Nina Mincionok) and two cousins (Juliana Mincionok and Ina Ragauskaite). Unfortunately, I soon lost my parents when I was almost three years old. My aunt Tania Ragauskiene began to take to care of me. In 1992 - 1994 I attended pre-school “Spindulys”. The pre-school is recommended for every child to develop character and provide a basic education. In these years I found the ability to absorb everything very quickly. More over, teachers developed my singing skills, because they noticed I had a great ear for music. I gave brilliant performances on Christmas evenings, birthdays, Easter and St. Valentine’s days in this pre-school, and in this way I have grown accustomed to the scene… 1994-1998 - the years of my elementary school “Algirdas Brazauskas’ elementary school” in Kaisiadorys, there it was called “1st secondary school”. There I got the most important basic education, establishing my future choices. I was very good in music. Our class was collectively very creative. We had dances, and singing classes. Besides that, we learned how to play an instrument and practiced finding rhythm. There I received a fundamental knowledge of the musical world. We created fabulous theatrical performances. I greatly appreciated my drama lessons; they gave me a chance to be in the spotlight. In addition, I was very gifted in learning other languages. I grew up speaking Lithuanian and in 1997 – I started to learn English in our school. I remember everything very well which is why I am so successful with learning new languages. In these years I developed a great appreciation for Spanish which was inspired by the Spanish songs of Thalia (Ariadna Thalia Sodi Miranda). I also watched Spanish soap operas, movies, and listened to songs where I could feel its music, yet hardly understand it. What is more, in 1994-1998 I attended vocal lessons from Ruta Zandavaite. She helped me to discover and reveal all my vocal and hearing abilities. It was the most important period of my singing career. We warmed the crowds of people’s hearts with our songs in Kaisiadorys. In primary school I realized that I had a gifted voice and should develop my gift through singing. I felt the most excitement when I would sing to others and it made me happy to see them smile. My desire to appease audiences grew, more and more… 1998 – I then received a secondary education in the same school to improve all my skills… I studied drama for one year, I like acting too, but I had to make a decision between perusing either acting or singing. 1999- I started to learn German, we had the choice of Russian or German, I could already speak Russian, so I decided to learn another language. As I mentioned, I have a good memory and had no problem learning foreign languages. Unfortunately, I was bad in Mathematics and Physics. So I later chose to study languages and history. I had a year to learn Spanish, so I decided to do it, in 2000. I did not have the opportunity previously because I could not afford it. I had been learning Spanish on my own (using dictionaries, grammar, etc…). My leisure time was devoted to learning Spanish and practicing singing. In the summer of the same year I started attending singing lessons with Snieguole Raudeliuniene. She had created a pop-singer group. Thanks to her, I stepped forward and started to realize my desire to sing. Composer, Julius Siurbis helped me in producing tracks and creating songs. I mentioned that I love Thalia’s songs, I have performed her Spanish songs (Amor a la mexicana, De donde soy, No me ensenaste). I had a lot of performances in my city. I performed in various festivals and in schools. I have been invited to sing for private parties also. Everyone has heard of me in Kaisiadorys… The spring of 2005 was the most exciting time for me, because I visited other countries; Ukraine, Germany, and even Spain. In Spain I got to put my Spanish skills to use. I competed in singing contests in these countries. In Ukraine I was rewarded with a Certificate of thanks. The audience in Germany saw me off with loud applause and I got a Certificate there also. Singing in Spain was so familiar for me, I knew the language quite well and I had no problem communicating… People there were astonished by how well I spoke and sang in Spanish all while being Lithuanian. I got 2nd place in that competition. That was very special to me. I had a terrific experience. In the summer of 2006 I filled out an application for a reality TV show called “Dangus” (heaven). I saw this as a chance for me to present myself to Lithuania. The results were amazing and I was so lucky! There were five thousand applicants and I was accepted!!! I was so lucky. Unfortunately, it was a reality show and it was not as successful as I thought it would be. But I was not disappointed in myself; I suppose those type of situations make us stronger and more patient. And still, I advance…….
