Spitting reality without any apologies, Soul Indi is not to be undermined. Get ready, because this young Sing J, from the streets of Vineyard Town, is about to arrest you with his gripping delivery of hard-hitting lyrics. Born Taj Antonio Jermaine Christie, on October 4, 1982, Soul Indi is the First child of Yvonne and Leroy Christie. He began his musical journey while enrolled at the Excelsior College in the Tourism program, as oppose to most of his peers who were from the Performing Arts Department It was during this time that I met and had the opportunity of mingling with young singers and dancers and so this is what urged me to unearth my talent where song writing is concerned, this all came about as a result of someone wanted to clash with me. It was a few years after college back in 2006 when I hooked up with producer Notorious from Victorious Entertainment and we decided to enter the JCDC popular song competition. The track featured a young singer by the name of Exodus. The song earned its place among the top fifty (50) of all two hundred (200) contestants. It was in the same year of 2006 when I got the opportunity to record my first professional song with the well known Cash Flow Records. The song was titled “Mi Haffi Pray” which came out on the UMBA riddim, Its was also with Cash Flow Records that I recorded my latest single Titled “Real Man Shi Want” which was released on the Give Thanks Riddim which also featured I Octane’s hit single Thank You Father along with my new entry for the 2010 JCDC popular song competition, this entry is called Messed Up World.[color="red"][/color][/b]
