In an era with rap music becoming more diverse in all cultures, here comes Lil Hill from SC bringing her own unmistakably unique southern sound of rap. She is very vigorous and knows how to entertain a crowd. This Highway 10 girl from promise land community is out to make her mark A native of Greenwood, South Carolina Lil Hill was born Fallon Hill on June 8, 1981. Since the age of 10, she has always had the passion for music regardless of genres. She also was a member of the teen choir at the family’s home church “Glover’s Chapel”. Her love for music also came from her father. He’s the only other person who loved music just as much as she does. Growing up and having a very supportive family is what led her to pursue her dreams. Also she is the niece of gospel singer “Norris Turner”. Spiritual upbringing in a nurturing environment has given her the confidence she has in herself. Lil Hill interest in rap started at an early age of 11. Inspired by other artists performing she began to write her own music and bring an instrumental whenever there was a local function to perform her own music. After several years she created a buzz and opportunities started knocking for her to do performances at local gatherings. Thereafter she has been on numerous stages and opening up concerts all over Greenwood and surrounding counties in SC. In 2005, she recalls a favorite memory when performing at a club called Remy’s. She performed a song “First Night” from her “Behind the Scenes” cd. The entire crowd were singing and dancing right along with her. Also in 2005, she opened up for Dem Franchize Boyz and T Pain at the Greenwood Civic Center. December of 2006, she performed at the Topaz in Greenwood. Lil Hill at the age of 25, solo rap artist and song writer is very versatile in her own style of music. Whether it be Hip Hop, R&B, Soulful Oldies, even Pop and Country. Even as an unsigned artist she has recorded three cds of her own; also she’s heard on mix tapes such as Haze and Dro, Cake mix vol. 1 and vol. 2 and Durdee South internet radio. Lil Hill is currently working on another underground cd. Working extremely hard to get to the next level in life is a great influence & encouragement. During a certain point in her life she struggled on the streets and has paid her debt to society. Her last cd “Maxed Out” talks about what she has been through. First and foremost Lil Hill would like to give God thanks for keeping her strong through storms in her life and along with the help of having positive people in life. Her future goal is to release an album world wide with the hopes of it becoming a best seller. Currently she is working in Real Estate along with pursuing her music career. Lil Hill also likes to relax when she is not working. Being around family keeps her hold. Once her career takes off, she’s looking to give back to the community, family and friends who supported her endeavors. Lil Hill also has the “Lil Hill Foundation” in the works that will offer opportunities for others to seek out there dreams. A future star has arrived and she about to bring recognition that is long overdue for South Carolina. Lil Hill
