JALEBI Music is a heady mix …..a delicious recipe…. of traditional and modern Indian music (Bollywood) combined with the might and power of soul, gospel, and blues (MOTOWN) all blended together with a sapient dose of modern technology![/p] [p]JALEBI Music became official in March 2006 and is a trio composed of Shirley Marie Bradby (MiraBai Devi Dasi), Ramananda Roy, and Yasodananda. This trio truly has a penchant for music and mantra….and really loves making music that has both melody…and meaning![/p] [p]Since March 2006 when JALEBI officially came into being several important milestones have been reached! JALBI has done live performances at various events and festivals in Italy such as the Natural Mystic Festival (Ronciglione), the 2007 Ratha Yatra Festival (Viareggio) and the Summer Festival (Grisignano di Zocco)[/p] [p]They have also auto produced their debut CD intitled “JALEBI Music”, created and maintained their own official JALEBI Music web site, been featured on various radio programs on and offline, posted and distributed their music on various web pages (in English and Italian)![/p] [p]Last but definitely not least…. created, auto produced and posted online several JALEBI Music videos on YouTube at [link=\\\"http://www.youtube.com/jalebimusic\\\"]www.youtube.com/jalebimusic[/link][/p] [p]From their very first year of activity JALEBI Music has been especially proud and honored to have also garnered accolades from various illustrious musicians such as Peter Gabriel, Steve Gadd, Franco Battiato, Enrico Rava and Aldo Tagliapietra who have written very encouraging comments about JALEBI Music\\\'s distinctive style and transcendental message.[/p] [p]Moreover...thanks to our fans...JALEBI Music fans have maintained this group at the number one position on several charts of independent music websites such as SongVaultFM.com\\\'s (International World Pop Category), Indiependence (World Music), and Ethnocloud (World Pop).
